Apply for an award
- To apply for an award, go to Open Awards for submission page by clicking the link available on the left hand navigation
- Or click the “Open Awards for submission” link on My Application page to go to the page where all the awards that are open for accepting applications or nominations are listed
- Look for the award that you would like to apply
- Click on the Apply button to start the application process.
- On Apply, you will be navigated to the “Application Instructions” page. You must read the given application instructions, guidelines and related terms & condition.
- Once you have read the application instructions and related terms and condition, you tick the checkbox to acknowledge that you have read the instructions before proceeding
- Fill the applications details and click “Save and Continue” to save your details and navigate to the next step in the application form.
- At any step you can navigate away from the application form and in such case your application will be saved in Draft and can be accessed from the My Applications page under active applications.
- On the last step, click “Save and Finalize” to save the details and go to the review step. In the review step, you can view all the details filled in each step in the application form.
- If all the details filled is correct and true to the best of your knowledge then “confirm” before submitting the application. Select the checkbox once you are ready to submit and hit the “Submit” button.
After the submission, you will be taken to the Thank You page. You will also receive an acknowledgment email for your submission.
Nominate someone for an award
- To nominate someone for an award, go to Open Awards for submission page using the link available on the left hand navigation
- Or click the “Open Awards for Submission” link to go to the page where all the awards that are open for accepting applications or nominations are listed.
- Look for the award for which you want to submit a nomination
- Click on the Apply button to start the nomination process.
- On Apply, you will be navigated to the “Application Instructions” page. You must read the given application instructions, guidelines and related terms & condition.
- Once you have read the application instructions and related terms and condition, tick the checkbox to acknowledge that you have read the instructions before proceeding
- Fill the nominations details and click “Save and Continue” to save your details and navigate to the next step in the nomination form.
- In the nominee step, you can search the person whom you would like to nominate. In case the nominee you are searching is not found, you can enter the details of the nominee to create the user record for that nominee
- At any step in the nomination form, you can navigate away from the nomination form and in such case your nomination will be saved in Draft and can be accessed from the My Applications page under active applications
- On the last step, click “Save and Finalize” to save the details and go to the review step. In the review step, all the details filled in each step can be viewed.
- If all the details filled is correct and true to the best of your knowledge then “confirm” before submitting the nomination. Select the checkbox once you are ready to submit and click Submit button.
- If you wish nominate another person for the same award, click on “Add more nominations” button to submit new nomination.
After the submission, you will be taken to the Thank You page. You will also receive an acknowledgment email for your submission.
Accept or Decline an Award
Some awards may require you to accept or decline the award if your application has been approved by the ASH Awards review committee. You will be notified via an email about your award status along with link to accept or decline the award.
Alternatively, you will see a congratulatory message with a link to accept or decline the award on My Applications page.
On clicking the link either from the email or My Applications page, you will be taken to the Award acceptance form where you will see two options – Accept or Decline the given Award.
Once you have accepted or declined the award, you will not be able to change your decision. You may need to contact ASH Awards Administrator for assistance.
Ask questions to Admin
If you have a query and would like to get in touch with ASH Administrator, you can post a question from the awards system.
Go to My questions page and click on “Post a question” button to open a query box. Select the Award name, the question area, type in your query and hit the “Post” to send your question.
Alternatively, you can also post a question from My Applications page.
From My Applications, you can even check if you have received a response for your query. If you have received a new response, the question icon against the award will be highlighted. Click on the icon to view the response and ask the follow up question, if you have any.
Respond to question
You can respond to queries asked by Admin or ask follow up question on Admin’s reply from My questions page.
On “My Questions” page, you will see the complete list of queries you have asked or queries asked by Admin to you.
In the response column, you can see the Admin’s response or your response to Admin’s query. If Admin has not responded to your query, you will see the message “Not yet responded”.
You can also ask follow up question if you need further details on the response provided by Admin.
Manage your application and nominations
All your active and past applications can be found in My Applications page. Awards that are currently active can be found under Active Applications whereas past awards can be found under Past Applications.
Post login, you will always be redirected to My Applications page if you have ever applied for an award.
From My applications page, you can
- Track the status of your active applications
- Edit your application until application deadline date
- Withdraw your application
- Ask questions
- Accept / Decline your approved application
- Download your application
Letter request
If an applicant has requested you to submit a reference letter as part of their application, you can view the requests and submit the document from the awards application.
Click on the “Letter request” link available on the left navigation menu. You will be taken to the page where all the pending and completed requests can be found.
Check the Active Requests tab to find the pending requests for which reference document can be uploaded.
To submit the document, click on the upload icon, select the document and hit upload. Once the document is submitted, the status of the requests will change to “Completed”
You can re upload the reference document for the applicant until the deadline date. Post the deadline, you will only be able to download the submitted document.
You can even download the document for the closed awards under the past requests
